G20-There is a Simple Solution

If you've been keeping up with the news, you should know that the G20 has just closed.

The G20 took place in Toronto, Canada this year and cost ed a couple billion.
Also going on was protests, where many cars were set on fire and vandalism happened.

The protesters would go as far as jumping out of the sewers to get to where they wanted to be. There was tons of police for riot control, but they never seemed to get it under control.

600 arrests.

A couple billion down the drain.

Toronto closed.
Protesters.

Vandalism.

Injury.

All so 20 of the world's leaders could chat about whatever they want to talk about. If you look at it, there is simpler solutions...Solutions that would stop the protesting and save money.

Idea #1 Fly them all out into some resort in the middle of nowhere that can only be accessed by plane. (Don't alert the media where it is)

Idea#2 Web Conference, have them all sit at home in their own countries and pull out some web cams. This saves A LOT of money and trouble. A computer programmer could set up a private channel for the leaders. This is taking advantage of today's technological world. To quote my friend: "The G20 is stupid, think about it, a terrorist could fly in on a plane and drop a bomb. BOOM! Killing all the leaders." The G20 security cost $1 Billion to keep leaders safe for three days. This is why they should use the web cam idea! But yet again, our government likes to spend money that isn't theirs, getting rid of the "extra baggage"

Instead of spending $1 billion on leaders (Who are already rich) we should spend it on helping OUR own country, getting all the homeless off the streets. Lets fix our country before sending money off to other countries.

E3

E3 2010 is the biggest video game event of the year! Many companys bring in their latest game and devices. The biggest device that was displayed was the Nintendo 3DS, which has a 3D effect without the harmful effects of 3D glasses if you play a lot. Nintendo and Microsoft both added upgrades to their biggest systems: Xbox 360 Konnect and Wii Move. More info on that subject next week. This post is all about some of

the best up coming games…

First Naughty Bear: In this game you’re an assassin bear that tries to kill other bears in single player and multi vio

lence. This game can be played on Xbox 360 a

nd PS3.

The game is set on a paradisiacal island where teddy bears live in harmony. The main character, Naughty Bear, is a shabby te

ddy bear who has a tendency to be mischievous, which earns him the dislike of the other bears. Like the other teddy bears, he d

oes not speak but instead conveys his emotions through a variety of sounds and facial expressions. His actions are influenced by an unseen narrator with a demeanor reminiscent of

that of a young children's television show host.[6][7]

Plot

Naughty Bear is the only bear on the island that was not invited to a certain birthday party because of the fact that he is too naughty. While he crafted a gift for the occasion, he was laughed at by the other bears and sulked back to his house. Naughty Bear decides to take his revenge against all the other bears on the island. [8]

Game play

The game is

yled world with thirty unique enviro

nments and weaponry to unlock

through progr

ession.[9][10] The game sees players

f Naughty Bear, using stealth and

tricks to lure the inhabitants into

situations where they can be

executed. It featu

res a system that rewards the player for creative acts

of violence and debauchery against

the inhabitants

of the island. While causing

mischief, the p

layer is rewarded with "Naughty Points", as we

and trophies. The more inventive and deviant th

e mischief, the greater the number

of naughty p

oints awarded.[11] Accumulated naughty poin

ts make up the player's score which can be view

ed on leaderboards.

Multiplayer

The game also has multiplaye

r options such as Capture the Flag, King of the Hill, and Search and Destroy. Depending on the player's actions, in-game bears can either be recruited or may tamper with the main objective.[12] The game has four multiplayer modes: Cake Walk, Jelly Wars, Assault, and Golden Oozy.[13]

Next up is Kirby’s Epic Yarn, it sounds a little stupid but it is said to be amazing. This experience brings back the old Kirby feel with a sewing twist on it.

The pink ball is back

Kirby's journey to the Wii ends in a twist, now with trailer!

Kirby’s debut on the Wii has been a long, confounding process. In fact, it dates back to the waning days of the GameCube, when a trailer of an untitled Kirby game emerged, with a “2.5-D” sidescrolling style, a la Kirby 64, and abilities, co-op and movesets reminiscent of Kirby Super Star. When the Wii came along, it was one of several developing GameCube games that was repurposed to bolster the new console's lineup. However, while Twilight Princess, Super Paper Mario and DK: Barrel Blast all saw life on the Wii, nothing more was ever seen of the Kirby game, and it was perpetually listed as “TBA (Current Year)” on Nintendo’s list of release dates. But Kirby Wii resurfaced at E3…in a completely different form.

The world of Kirby’s Epic Yarn appears to be sewn together, a look that evokes memories of Yoshi’s Story, Paper Mario and of course, Kirby's Dream Land 3. But while the storybook appearance of those titles was primarily an aesthetic move, it’s significant to the gameplay of Epic Yarn. Kirby is seen attaching to flying objects to hitch a ride, unravelling scenery to reveal secrets, grappling with foes and “wrinkling” segments of a stage to shorten gaps. He also appears to transform as the situation demands, obtaining a surfboard when crossing water, turning into a submarine when he goes underneath and becoming a car at dashing speeds. His classic UFO ability is present, as are some new ones, such as a giant (but still adorable) robot. A nondescript partner character appears in some scenes, suggesting that the game also supports two-player cooperation.

Epic Yarn is expected to release this fall, so Kirby fans have a little while to ponder its unique style.

Finally, the latest installment in Nintendo DS handhelds, the 3DS. Experience video gaming in a new 3D way on 3DS.

The Nintendo 3DS (ニンテンドー3DS?, pronounced /nɪnˈtɛndoʊ ˈθriˈdiɛs/) is an upcoming portable game console by Nintendo, which can produce "3D effects without the need for any special glasses," a process called autostereoscopy.[2] Scheduled for a Japan, North American and European release in the fiscal year ending March 31 2011, the portable will succeed the Nintendo DS series of handhelds,[2] which primarily shares the handheld console market with Sony's PSP (PlayStation Portable).[3] The Nintendo 3DS will feature backward compatibility with Nintendo DS series software, including DSiWare software programmed for the Nintendo DSi.[2]

Announcing the device on March 23, 2010, Nintendo officially unveiled the device at the 2010 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3)[2] on June 15,[4] with the company inviting attendees to play with the console.[5] According to industry analysts, the timing of Nintendo's original announcement, which had drawn attention away from the launch of the company's still-new Nintendo DSi XL handheld, was likely intended to preempt impending news leaks about the product by the Japanese press.

Features

"Target Shooting" augmented reality tech demo at E3 2010

The Nintendo 3DS is based on a custom Pica200 graphics processor from a Japanese start-up Digital Media Professionals (DMP). [24] It has two screens; the top screen is a 3.53-inch 5:3 3D screen with a resolution of 800x240 pixels (400x240 pixels per eye, WQVGA) that is able to produce a stereoscopic three-dimensional effect without 3D glasses, while the bottom screen is a 3.02-inch 4:3 non-3D touch panel with a resolution of 320x240 pixels (QVGA). The 3DS weighs approximately 8 oz. and, when closed, is 5.3 inches wide, 2.9 inches long, and 0.8 inches tall.

The system features several additions to the design of the original DS, including a slider on the side of the device that adjusts the intensity of the 3D effect, a round nub analog input called the "Slide Pad", an accelerometer, and a gyroscope. In addition, there is an infra-red communicator port situated on the top of the unit.[25]

The 3DS has two cameras on the outside of the device, capable of taking 3D photos and capturing 3D video, as well as a camera positioned above the top screen that faces the player; both cameras have a resolution of 640x480 pixels (0.3 Megapixel). The system also has 3D movie playback capability; Nintendo has made deals with Warner Bros, Disney, and DreamWorks to deliver 3D movies. Although no titles have been announced yet, the trailer for Disney’s upcoming film Tangled was shown on the 3DS during the Expo.[26]

It will be compatible with both Nintendo DS and DSi games, and a new generation of 3DS games. Announced titles include Kid Icarus: Uprising [27] and Mario Kart 3DS. [28] Many companies have signed on to develop for the 3DS, and over 20 titles in all have been confirmed.[29] At launch, the Nintendo 3DS cartridges will hold 2GB of game data and look almost exactly the same as those of the current DS.[29] However, there is a small tab jutting out on the one side, most likely to prevent 3DS cards from being inserted in a Nintendo DS. It has also been hinted that the 3DS would support an e-reader app as well.[30]

The 3DS possesses Wi-Fi capabilities and periodically searches for Wi-Fi hotspots and other 3DSs without user input, and will be able to receive data from the Internet or other 3DSs while in sleep mode. The system supports multiplayer gameplay via a local wireless connection or over the Internet.

The system has been shown in three color schemes: blue, red, and black.[29] Purple and bronze/orange versions were also seen at E3 2010.[31] All 3DS systems feature a black surround on the top screen to help increase the 3D effect.

A Review of This Year

It seems that the year really ends in June, Instead of having the new year start in January, it should really start in September, But if it ended in June and started in September that would leave July-August as neutral, or a time of discovering ones self.

Well, since we can't change it, lets review how this "school" year was.

You probably experienced emotions such as, being happy, being sad, being confused, being frustrated, being hurt, feeling success, failure, relief, and the feeling of being important, or unimportant.

Feelings pass and fade. As so does the school year, there are probably memories you will keep forever treasured and others that may slowly fade from your attention.

There may have been times you felt like you were being pulled down by gravity.

There may have been times you soared through the sky as if nothing could hold you down.

Some times life may not have been a "lullaby" and times when it felt like it was the sweetest cotton candy.

There may have been times you felt like you were covered in complete darkness:

other times when you felt as if you were in never ending light.

The Thrill of making new friends.
The loss of losing one.
Taking a risk.
Playing on the safe side.

We have all had our days and all had our moments. We have also had our pain. Its your choice to choose to remember the good stuff, the bad stuff, or nothing at all.

Poo: Is it Useful?

If you really think about poo, you may find many names for it: manure, feces, dung, crap, fecal matter, droppings, bum nuggets.... you get the idea. Yes, this article is beginning to sound gross. But did you know that poop is used all around the world to do good?
Have you ever drove past a field that smelled horrible? Animal poop is often used as fertilizer. This is because, using a cow for example, they eat the grass. Once eaten, it is digested. Then pooped back into the ground. (Cow) poo is full of nutrients as well as a lot of other kinds.
Feces from animals such as cows, bison, and camels, are used in some places as fuel. When dried out and burned, it acts sort of like oil in our cars.
Animal dung is occasionally used as a type of cement for making *adobe mudbrick huts* (for more info on *** see Wikipedia).
Cow pat throwing and camel dung throwing contests can be popular sports and games involving poop. Do not try these at home however- your mother may get upset. However, here is a poo recipe to try on your own:

1. Eat at least 4 asparagus.

2. Add some mashed potatoes or whatever else you like with asparagus. Avoid onion or the whole experiment may be 'smelled' away.

3. Play a game outside or do something fun while your body digests the asparagus. This should take about an hour however it varies.

4. Once finished digesting, go sit on the toilet and poop.

5. Poop is not involved in this activity unfortunately.

6. Smell your pee. If the smell is strong, the experiment worked. If it smells regular... its a fail.

7. Why does your pee smell funny??? Look it up on Google yourself.

As you now know, poop has many names and uses. Respect other cultures and the uses they have for fecal matter. Well, that's the end of this article about poop. The End. Good-bye. Period. Poo!

This is Neko and Teko reporting from the toilet.

Respect-Does This Generation Lack It?

Whether its driving, or work. You either see a person swearing or giving the finger if your too slow. Or someone being mouthy at work. Sometimes its a teenager trampling an elders bags. Those are all signs of Disrespect. Or Lacking Respect.
It seems like this generation is lacking respect. Edit: It seems that this SOCIETY is lacking respect. It seems that sometime from the "good old days." and now a switch was flung and respect and care was removed.
I'm not saying people don't care anymore. I'm saying a lot of them don't! Why? Because people only care about themselves.
In this world, they only look after themselves.
Some people complain that there is lack of respect to women or certain races. It may be due to a person thinking they are Superior than a certain race, or gender.
But, What makes the society care only about themselves? It seems that the reason kids don't care, isn't really the kid's fault, its the parents. When the parents don't show respect, or only care about themselves, the kids learn that that is the right thing to do. Its also sad to say that respect is not the top priory of parents teach their kids these days. Another reason might be role models. There is too many that aren't good ones.
Do the famous stars you see sing about helping other people? Do they sing about caring for other people?

No. So, this can also get into the kid's heads: "This is cool! Helping others is not!" etc. It may not be that exact message, but it could be a message that affects the priorities of the kids.
Media, a lot of new kids shows these days are about stuff like "Blue, Green, Yellow."
And Not about helping others.
There have been complaints about a certain population that lacks respect. Teens. It seems that teens lack the most respect of all the population. *
Doesn't apply to all teens*

Well since the worst trouble a kid can get into at school and home is being yelled or being suspended, than they know they can't really get hurt so they do what they want. In their opinion suspension isn't bad at all, you sit at home doing whatever you want to do, so really you are getting your way.

"I blame the government for the lack of respect from teenagers because if parents do to our kids today what our parents did to us, which is good old- fashioned spanking, the parents can get into trouble with the Child Protection Services. They actually run the risk of losing their children due to "abuse" and can be even thrown in jail for it! If the Child Protective Service officials had hidden cameras installed in a house for a month, the parents would probably be applauded instead. "

Blur-Poking Fun At Mario Kart

Activision has released a commercial promoting their new game "Blur."
The ad is set in a childish racing game, that is similar to the popular Nintendo game "Mario Kart." While the race is about to begin, a racer spots something in the distance, he walks over to the fence to be fascinated by a street racing scene.
A pink blob comes over and says "Racing Isn't about winning, its about making friends!" The racer delivers a swift punch while saying. "Shut it Pinkie!" (I have to admit that part is funny!)

The ad also tells us to "Race like a big boy.," putting down "Family or Childish" racing games. Such as Mario Kart.

All this boasting and tough words might look like a good idea now, but let's hope it doesn't come back to haunt them. Because you might be able to mock a game or even a franchise, but if you don't topple them in expectations, the backfire will be tenfold. And mocking the biggest of them all is quite a task to live up to.

The Planets Only Immortal Animal

While checking my mail on Yahoo! I came across this article and thought it would interesting to share!

The planet's only immortal animal is spreading fast

Thu Jun 17, 7:57 PM

Michael Bolen

Photo: Turritopsis nutricula or the 'immortal' jellyfish. The species uses a process called transdifferentiation to reverse...

Yahoo! Canada News

A species of jellyfish has evolved the potential for immortality - and they're starting to spread.

The species turritopsis nutricula is able to transform itself from its mature state back into a polyp (immature jellyfish) and then back again - picture a gelatinous 'Benjamin Button' on repeat.

The species, which is only 4-5 mm in diameter, performs this miraculous feat using a process known as transdifferentiation, in which one type of cell transforms into another. While this sounds a lot like what happens in stem cells, the process is distinct.

Turritopsis nutricula isn't the only species to use the technique; salamanders use the process to regrow limbs, while chickens utilize it to repair damaged eyes. Turritopsis nutricula, however, is the only species able to regenerate its entire body.

The entire transformation from adult to polyp takes place very rapidly, helping to explain why it has never been observed in the wild. The process, however, has been observed in the lab, and so far 100 per cent of specimens have been capable of the transformation.

Theoretically, the process can go on indefinitely, which may help to explain why scientists have noticed a spike in the number of these jellyfish in the oceans. "We are looking at a worldwide silent invasion," said Dr Maria Miglietta of the Smithsonian Tropical Marine Institute.

The jellyfish are believed to have originated in the Caribbean, but, due to the common shipping practice of emptying ballast water in foreign ports, is now found all over the globe.

While the jellyfish can potentially live forever, it's unlikely that one ever will.

That's because like other jellyfish, Turritopsis nutricula is often eaten by other animals and readily succumbs to disease.

Other larger long-lived species have a better chance at reaching impressive ages. Bowhead whales, tortoises and koi fish can all live to be more than 200 years old. Plant species can live even longer. The oldest known bristlecone pine is nearly 5,000 years old.

That isn't stopping scientists around the globe from searching for the secret that allows this unique jellyfish from reversing the aging process. Mastering transdifferentiation could be the key to discovering a real fountain of youth.

Follow Yahoo! Canada News on Twitter.

From Yahoo News~!

So, they have discovered an animal that has the capability to live forever. Sorry Vampire Lovers, this ability will not be transferred to humans, and the jelly fish CAN live forever but probably won't because there is disease and other animals that like to eat it. Who knows there could be humans eating it hoping to get the Transdifferentiation ability.

How To Tell If Someone Is Lying?

No one likes being lied to. Even worse is when you find out that the person lied to you about something big and you feel stupid after for believing it. So you will learn how to catch someone in a lie, so you know what they are saying is not true.

How to Detect Lies

Become a Lie Detector

Warning: sometimes ignorance is bliss; after gaining this knowledge, you may be hurt when it is obvious that someone is lying to you.

Introduction to Detecting Lies:

The following techniques to telling if someone is lying are often used by police and security experts. This knowledge is also useful for managers, employers, and for anyone to use in everyday situations where telling the truth from a lie can help prevent you from being a victim of fraud/scams and other deceptions.

Signs of Deception:

Body Language of Lies:

• Physical expression will be limited and stiff, with few arm and hand movements. Hand, arm and leg movement are toward their own body the liar takes up less space.

how to see a fake smile

• A person who is lying to you will avoid making eye contact.

• Hands touching their face, throat & mouth. Touching or scratching the nose or behind their ear. Not likely to touch his chest/heart with an open hand.

Emotional Gestures & Contradiction

• Timing and duration of emotional gestures and emotions are off a normal pace. The display of emotion is delayed, stays longer it would naturally, then stops suddenly.

• Timing is off between emotions gestures/expressions and words. Example: Someone says "I love it!" when receiving a gift, and then smile after making that statement, rather then at the same time the statement is made.

• Gestures/expressions don’t match the verbal statement, such as frowning when saying “I love you.”

• Expressions are limited to mouth movements when someone is faking emotions (like happy, surprised, sad, awe, )instead of the whole face. For example; when someone smiles naturally their whole face is involved: jaw/cheek movement, eyes and forehead push down, etc.

Also see our article on micro expressions & lying.

Interactions and Reactions

• A guilty person gets defensive. An innocent person will often go on the offensive.

• A liar is uncomfortable facing his questioner/accuser and may turn his head or body away.

• A liar might unconsciously place objects (book, coffee cup, etc.) between themselves and you.

Verbal Context and Content

• A liar will use your words to make answer a question. When asked, “Did you eat the last cookie?” The liar answers, “No, I did not eat the last cookie.”

•A statement with a contraction is more likely to be truthful: “ I didn't do it” instead of “I did not do it”

• Liars sometimes avoid "lying" by not making direct statements. They imply answers instead of denying something directly.

• The guilty person may speak more than natural, adding unnecessary details to convince you... they are not comfortable with silence or pauses in the conversation.

• A liar may leave out pronouns and speak in a monotonous tone. When a truthful statement is made the pronoun is emphasized as much or more than the rest of the words in a statement.

• Words may be garbled and spoken softly, and syntax and grammar may be off. In other
words, his sentences will likely be muddled rather than emphasized.

• The use of distancing language. out to wikipedia

Other signs of a lie:

• If you believe someone is lying, then change subject of a conversation quickly, a liar follows along willingly and becomes more relaxed. The guilty wants the subject changed; an innocent person may be confused by the sudden change in topics and will want to back to the previous subject.

• Using humor or sarcasm to avoid a subject.

Final Notes:

Obviously, just because someone exhibits one or more of these signs does not make them a liar. The above behaviors should be compared to a persons base (normal) behavior whenever possible.

Most lie detecting experts agree that a combination of body language and other cues must be used to make an educated guess on whether someone is telling the truth or a lie.

Black Holes: In Pictures

Lensing by a black hole. Animated simulation of gravitational lensing caused by a Schwarzschild black hole going past a background galaxy

Black Holes are said to be like giant sucking vaccums. That even light can't escape it.
IT is called a "Black" hole because even light can't escape it.
What is a black hole? According to Answers.com:
A black hole is a theoretical entity predicted by the equations of general relativity. A black hole is formed when a star of sufficient mass undergoes gravitational collapse, with most or all of its mass compressed into a sufficiently small area of space, causing infinite spacetime curvature at that point (a "singularity"). Such a massive spacetime curvature allows nothing, not even light, to escape from the "event horizon," or border.
But, How is the Black Hole made? WikiAnswers.com says:
when a stars goes supernova some times all its matter collapses and compresses itself to create a black hole sucking in debris and stuff around it When a star is about 15 times bigger than our sun, (estimate) and super novas, it will turn into a nebula, which is a cloud of debris and matter that sucks itself back in due to gravity. The nebula will compress into a neutron star, which basically sits there and emits x-ray beams at near the speed of light. the neutron star is ridiculously dense (with a teaspoon weighing around 90,000kg), so it will eventually collapse on itself as well. this is what creates a black hole. the actual black hole is so dense in the center that anything that come too close will collapse into molecules and then be sucked in. the escape velocity of a black hole is higher than 186,000 miles per second, so light cannot even escape. Black holes sometimes come out of a dieing star, regularly an star 15-100 times the mass of our sun. When our sun dies, scientists KNOW that it will not produce a black hole but it will create a red giant and overtake the orbits of Mercury, Venus, and Earth. However some scientists believe that earth will not be destroyed by the sun but will take a new orbit, adjusting its orbit around the red giant. Although all life on earth will indefinitely be destroyed when this happens in about 5 billion years.
OK so I am guessing everyone knows what a black hole is. If you don't know. Read above! But did you know there are also WHITE HOLES? They are kinda like black holes, well the complete oppisite. Instead of sucking they blow. While a black hole sucks up all light, the white hole blows everything.

B is For Blogging

So, You want to create a blog? Well you've come to the right place! Today we will show you how to make a blog and what you can do with it!

But first, What is a uh Blog?

What is a Blog?

A blog is a website, to narrow it down a website where you share your thoughts, There is no rule about what you have to make your blog about. Just because its a blog: You don't have to pour out your feelings and write about your life. No. Your blog will be whatever you want it to be. Blogs can usually be made free.

Making a Blog?

Before you make your blog, you'll need to come up with three things:
1. What your Blog will be about
2. Your title and URL
3. What blogging platform you will use.

There are many "Professional services," out there, but you will have to pay for them. In this case we will look at the popular "Free" services out there, these platforms are easy to use and you don't need to know HTML code to write a post. Its as simple as "Type, Click, View."

The top 3 platforms are: (easy to use.)
1. Blogger.com
2. Wordpress.com
3. Windows Live Spaces (MSN)

I would recommend either Word press or Blogger, they are flexible, easy to use, and fun!

'Musique a la Fantabulous' Contest

Now, by looking at the title of this post, you may just think I'm crazy. Well, that's up for your own perception. Music is a fantabulous thing. You may think fantabulous is not a word: It means "magnificent, marvelously excellent." (Answers.com)

There are many different types of music. It would take too long to get into all of those right now, however. But one of the ways of making music is through instruments (clarinet, piano, saxophone, drums, guitar....... the list goes on).

Another way to make music is through your voice. There are many great singers and some not so great ones. Everyone has different styles and everyone can sing. Just because someone doesn't like the way Justin Bieber, for example, sings, it doesn't mean that he is an awful singer.

I am writing this post because I love all different types of music and ways of making it. Do you? Well, you can send in a video of you making music in anyway you like. Then they will be judged for a winner. The winner will get to have their music posted on the site where professionals may see it.

Here are some guidelines for your video:

1. Any age is allowed

2. Put your first name and age.

3. All submissions are due by June 29

4. You must be in the video

5. You must be the one making music

6. All vids. must be appropriate.

7. You may record yourself if you want privacy so that we cannot see you.

8. There may be a group if you like.

9. Make a music video if you want to earn extra points.

10. Have fun making music!!!!!

Send all submissions to nekoandteko@gmail.com

This is Neko and Teko signing out. Bing!

FlashPoint

Flashpoint: This Song is amazing! Now let me narrow "Amazing" down, Amazing Actors, Amazing Storyline, Amazing Filming, Amazing Sets, Amazing Everything.

Well that doesn't really narrow it down....
Filmed in Toronto, Flashpoint is a show about a "Swat" team. It shows that a swat job isn't just guns and "Put yours hands up." It also involves other elements, like negotiation.

One thing I have to admit I like about this show is that it doesn't just show the teams point of view, it also shows the other persons point of view.

Here's an Example;
In an episode in season 2, a teenage boy named Billy, is bullied horribly, he just gets so upset when a couple of kids decide to beat him up and put it on youtube. So, he runs home grabs a gun, and.....
I like how the show just shows you what drives the people to do what they do, and that they are just regular people and aren't necessary evil!

The actors, are very well chosen, we don't have bad actors like "Hannah Montana," we have actors who actually have TALENT!
Here is a list of the cast:

Hugh Dillon ... Ed Lane (41 episodes, 2008-2010)

Amy Jo Johnson ... Jules Callaghan / ... (41 episodes, 2008-2010)

David Paetkau ... Sam Braddock (41 episodes, 2008-2010)
Enrico Colantoni ... Sgt. Gregory Parker / ... (41 episodes, 2008-2010)

Sergio Di Zio ... Mike Scarlatti / ... (41 episodes, 2008-2010)

Michael Cram ... Kevin Wordsworth / ... (41 episodes, 2008-2010)
(IMDB)

The show can be caught on CBS and CTV. But what do other people think of the show? Turning back to the IMDB as a source we tracked down a review written by a IMDB user:
Perps are people too., 20 July 2008
Author: Jack from 89118

Wow, a cop show without perps. A TV drama with guns and not 'necessary' evil. Moral, caring cops with emotional consequences. Explosions, when all else fails.

I like 'The Unit' (also on CBS) when it addresses the egregious use of force needed to defend against force and the guilt that comes from fighting evil with evil actions. They have their moments of destruction far from home and leave the guilt for later (when they are home). Flashpoint takes place down the street. In your office building or mall. The consequences of action or inaction are to be replayed in their mind, home, community and above all on TV. And despite the preparations our heroes take, it just doesn't assuage the situations that go tits up.

This show is grounded in moral motives that will pierce the heart of it's viewers. Let the Rambo's have their shows, and let us tread the thin, ever moving and twisting thin blue line of Flashpoint. In the show's own words, "We're not here to target practice, we're here to save lives".

If this sounds up your allay check it out!
