Have you heard of facebook? If you haven't... Facebook is a social networking site, available to those 13 and older. You can write stuff on your "wall" or profile and people can leave comments, you can also add photos and videos.

But Facebook didn't just appear? It was created. It was created by a college student: Mark Zuckerberg. When it was first created it wasn't called facebook, It was called TheFacebook. And It could only be used by students at his university

Did I mention he went to Havard? It than expanded to be used by University Students all over North America, than it went down to High School students, than down to 13+
Now it has over 400 Million Users Worldwide. Well in every country except China, Syria, Vietnam, and Iran. Where it has been banned.

When you think of the guy who created it, your first thought is probably a big rich man on a fancy computer.

Mark is now a CEO of facebook. He didn't create it alone he created it with:
Eduardo Saverin, Dustin Moskovitz and Chris Hughes.

Fun Fact: Just a rumor but Facebook might be charging $4 per month to be used. Will you use it if you have to pay? Its just a rumor.
