A Review of This Year

It seems that the year really ends in June, Instead of having the new year start in January, it should really start in September, But if it ended in June and started in September that would leave July-August as neutral, or a time of discovering ones self.

Well, since we can't change it, lets review how this "school" year was.

You probably experienced emotions such as, being happy, being sad, being confused, being frustrated, being hurt, feeling success, failure, relief, and the feeling of being important, or unimportant.

Feelings pass and fade. As so does the school year, there are probably memories you will keep forever treasured and others that may slowly fade from your attention.

There may have been times you felt like you were being pulled down by gravity.

There may have been times you soared through the sky as if nothing could hold you down.

Some times life may not have been a "lullaby" and times when it felt like it was the sweetest cotton candy.

There may have been times you felt like you were covered in complete darkness:

other times when you felt as if you were in never ending light.

The Thrill of making new friends.
The loss of losing one.
Taking a risk.
Playing on the safe side.

We have all had our days and all had our moments. We have also had our pain. Its your choice to choose to remember the good stuff, the bad stuff, or nothing at all.

Internet Security At Schools

The Teachers and principals act confident of their internet security, so confident they don't bother to check it. Well there is 500 students, who wants to sit at a desk all day and check all the website history. Besides: All the Bad Sites are blocked! You tube, Face book, You know it! Meanwhile we have students in Room 203 gathered around the small monitor watching a funny youtube video. Think again Teachers, your security may be easily bypassed. Kids these days know how to get around it!
The Worst One:
Net Proxy,
Lots of school networks have this "Security," this is the easiest to get passed. The Kids just have to type in a few words in google and BAM!
For some networks that block Youtube: Most students go to google type the name of the video and click "Videos." Which allows them to view the video without actually going to youtube.
Since certain URLS are blocked:
For Example;
www.myspace.com A Student might type in myspace.com/profile/login or so on and so on.

So you may want to rethink your security blocks...

All For One and One For All!

People may judge you just by what school you go to. Like just because you go to a Christian School you sing hymns all day and you're rich. Or just because you go to a Catholic school you want to become a nun. Or if you go to a public school, you skip all your classes and do drugs.

Well, don't let these comments get to you. Essentially, everyone is equal. See these kids? Everyone of them is different and unique in their own way. Not one of them is the same as the other. That what makes them unique. They may all have different religions, go to different schools, or live in different places, but their all equal to one another. Why do people discriminate because of race, religion, likes and dislikes? Each one of us has been made specially. We each have a plan set forth in our lives.

These girls may look the exact same on the outside, but on the inside they are of their own character. Not alike at all. One probably likes broccoli while the other likes bread. One may be athletic, while the other a great reader. Being unique is how we distinguish ourselves from one another. It's how we know who's who.
Just imagine what it would be like if everyone looked exactly the same, spoke the same, had the same abilities, religion, race, etc! It would be chaos! How would you know who was your friend, not your dog....or where your house was (because if everyone was the exact same they would build the same too)! What about how someone did on a test at school? What if you got an A- on the test, but the teacher handed one with a C on it because you all had the same name!
Never judge people like that! It really hurts. And even if it doesn't hurt you at first, it'll come back to you. Never be prejudice (pre-judge someone just because what their reputation may be or the one of their race or school without knowing them) or hurt someone.
This is Teko reporting from school.
